Help with Bnyat
Last updated: 26 September 2026Applies to the Bnyat Academy app (Android and iOS) and bnyat.krd
Answers to the questions we get most, and how to reach a person on the Bnyat team when you need one.
Signing in
Bnyat uses Sign in with Apple and Google; there is no password to remember. Use the same provider every time so you land on the same account. If sign-in fails, check that the date and time on your phone are set automatically, then try again from the app’s Save your plan screen.
Your student code (BNY-XXXX-NN) is shown at the top of your Account screen — tap your photo and name at the top of Home to open it. It is a reference for support and payments, never a login.
Courses and access
Courses show their lessons and any available free previews before you enroll. Payment options depend on the app version and where it is distributed. Where FIB checkout is available, access follows payment verification; access arranged through the Bnyat team is linked to your student code. If content you paid for is still locked, send us your student code and payment reference so we can check it.
Refunds are handled case by case — see the refunds section of the terms.
Switching phones
Paid lesson videos play on one phone per account, and your courses and flashcards can be limited to that phone too. On any other phone the app says your account is linked to, or active on, another device.
Got a new phone? Sign in on it, then tap Contact the Bnyat team on that screen or email us your student code, and we will move your access to the new phone. Your old phone then locks; your courses, decks and progress stay on your account. A phone set up from another phone’s backup counts as a new phone, while reinstalling the app on the same phone keeps its access. Lost your phone? Tell us and we will unlink it.
If the app asks you to connect to confirm this phone, it hasn’t been online for 14 days: connect to the internet and tap Check again. Nothing on the phone is deleted.
Offline lessons
Lessons you download are stored encrypted on your phone and play in their course without internet, as long as the app goes online at least once every 14 days. See or delete them in Account → Downloaded lessons; uninstalling the app also removes them. Screenshots and screen recording are blocked on lesson screens to protect the teachers’ work.
Flashcards and community
Your own decks are private and work offline; reviews sync when you are back online. Decks you send to the community and notes you post in the National Exam section are reviewed by the Bnyat team before other students can see them. To report a post or a deck, open its ⋯ menu and choose Report. To flag a mistake on a single card, such as a wrong answer or a typo, choose Report a problem in the card’s ⋯ menu.
Notifications
Study reminders and course announcements can be switched on or off in Account → Push notifications and Learning reminders, or in your phone’s system settings.
Your account and data
You can delete your account at any time from Account → Privacy → Delete account (immediate) or by email — see Delete your account. For a copy of your data, email us from the address you signed up with. What we collect and why is in the privacy policy.
Contact us
Email hello@bnyat.krd with your student code and a short description of the problem. The Bnyat team will review your request.
